Fieldrunners came to mobile in 2008, launching one of the more popular tower defense series on iOS. The laser turrets and helmeted waves are currently available for free for a limited time, in Fieldrunners' first since in five years.

While enemy hordes and overwhelming firepower had always been a staple of the genre, Fieldrunners focused on another strategic layer: crafting your own route, letting you create deadly choke points and funnels by choosing where to play turrets.

Along with the price drop, the game was also updated with 64-bit support, so you'll be able to enjoy Fieldrunners for the foreseeable future

You can find our Bronze Award review of Fieldrunners here, and download the game on iPad and iPhone.

As we saw yesterday, WWDC 2018 had a big emphasis on improving Apple's AR technology. To surprise us all LEGO's Director of Innovation, Martin Sanders, took to the stage to talk us through their upcoming project.

With the announcement of ARKit 2, the new LEGO AR app incorporates the features boasted in yesterday's Keynote, including 3D object detection and shared experience. Sanders started off by checking out a physical LEGO set with an iPad. The set quickly burst to life in AR and became something you could interact with digitally.

When in use with the app, the LEGO structure suddenly comes to life as characters and buildings burst into frame. LEGO-folks can be interacted with, special characters can be added, and you can be joined by up to four friends for simultaneous play.

One of its cooler features is that you can open up buildings, peeking inside at what its residents are getting up to. In the case of the demo, a baker accidentally set his shop on fire so it was all very exciting. Firetrucks, helicopters, you name it.

Once you're done you can save your progress and pick up right where you left off the next time you play.

Formerly titled "Art of Destruction", Art of Gravity is the gorgeously destructive puzzler coming to iOS from the developer of Zenge. A new trailer reveals a variety of digital destruction and a release date slated for next month.
So Much Drama Studios is bringing "tiara-defense" game Mean Girls to iOS "soon."

It's also slated for release on "mobile platforms," meaning Android could be on the way at some point.

The game is, of course, based on the popular American film of the same name.

Mean Girls will follow several high school girls and their associated cliques through the brutal social hierarchies of high school.

The different games modes, of which there are seven, are based on quotes from the Mean Girls movie.

These include: You Can't Sit With Us, Social Suicide, She Doesn't Even Go Here, and The Limit Does Not Exist.

What any of this means in terms of gameplay is unclear, but we're sure to find out more soon enough. If the popular girls allow it.

The studio behind the game, So Much Drama, also made RuPaul's Drag Race: Dragopolis 2.0.

PPSSPP, the PSP emulator for Android, has been updated to version 1.1.

What does that mean? Perhaps the biggest change is support for Nvidia Shield TV. But if you want the full list of tweaks and improvements (courtesy of the developers), have at it:
Support for ARM64 on Android, for improved performance on new devices. Has some new optimizations.Support Android TV, like Nvidia Shield TVScreen rotation on PC, useful for vertical games like Star SoldierMany minor performance improvements and compatibility bug fixesGPU emulation fixes like correct depth rounding, fixing text in Phantasy StarOther graphical fixes like UV rotationSupport savestates for homebrew appsSimple integrated "Homebrew Store" to download PSP homebrew appsMinor AdHoc multiplayer improvements. Still many issues left.Disable a dangerous optimization on ARM, causing walk-through-walls in TenchusceAtrac music compatibility fixes, fixing noise in a few gamesBetter texture scaling performanceDirect3D closer in features to OpenGLWorks better on BSD operating systemsSavedata management UI
You can download an ad-supported version of PPSSPP for free on Google Play.

There's also a Gold version without the ads that'll cost you £3.99 / $4.99 on Google Play.
My City : Office(This Game Can Experience The Full Content)
If you can keep up with dither then I salute you. Heck, you probably deserve some kind of medal.

It's similar to Pipe Mania, except it has no patience and wants you to move quicker, quicker, quicker.

As with that 1989 puzzle game, dither has you connecting a series of pipes by using randomly generated pipe pieces. You tap to change the direction the piping travels in, using arrows for guidance to the next pipe you need to connect to.

It's not too bad to start off with, but once you've climbed up the vertical void a little it starts to get ridiculous.

Faster, faster, faster: you meander from pipe to pipe, trying to steer your path of pipes between them as best you can.

    Variety
It was incredibly tight at this year's Big Indie Pitch at Apps World, and Dr Harrison and the Blood Crystals just missed out on taking home all the plaudits.

As it turns out, Dr Harrison ended up in a not too shabby at all second place, and it deserved to be there.

It's an incredibly slick and polished multiplayer platformer in which you have to complete a series of difficult levels played out in a comic book.

Meanwhile, a friend or two will compete with you on their own phones. When you're finished, you can compare how long it took you to complete all of the levels, as well as how many times you failed. This way it's easy to see who walked away with the competition.

It's not a particularly long experience, but we didn't see everything that it had to offer. We can tell you that it felt really fun to play and posed a good challenge. It's just so polished.

So congratulations to Dr Harrison and the Blood Crystals for winning second prize, and we wish the developer luck with the upcoming launch.
Disillusions Manga Horror Pro Mod Disillusions Manga Horror Pro Mod (paid) 3.323 Features:Paid for freeDisillusions Manga Horror Pro Mod (paid) 3.323 APK MOD is published on 2019-10-22.
You didn’t read that headline wrong. There really is a new game out on Game Boy in the year of our lord 2020. Indie retro studio Green Boy Games has released Where Is My Body? for Nintendo’s Game Boy systems today.

Inspired by classic ‘90s adventures such as Maniac Mansion, Where Is My Body? is an 8-bit classic point and click adventure about a disembodied hand that gains consciousness thanks to the wild experiments of a mad scientist. Through the game’s many levels, you must help the hand solve mysteries and puzzles in order to help it reclaim the rest of its body.

Where Is My Body? is available to purchase in both Western and Japanese cartridges, each packed in regional specific boxes with a manual. It’s compatible with each of the Game Boy consoles in existence: the Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance. The game was funded on Kickstarter earlier this year where 377 backers pledged €24,231 to help make the project a reality.

Green Boy Games is run single-handedly by Dana Puch, creator of other modern cartridge-based games such as Micro Doctor, Lunar Journey, Submarine 9, and Leo Legen. “I would like to thank backers and friends who continuously support the titles which I create”, says Puch on the release of Where Is My Body?.

Every game sold by the studio is distributed in these physical cartridges that run on the original hardware, since it’s in the studio’s plan to keep the spirit of the legendary handheld alive. Considering production of the console ceased in 2003, I'd say this is quite the accolade.

You can purchase Where Is My Body? for all Game Boy systems directly from Green Boy Games’ website, where it costs €49 / £44.50 / $57.50. Copies will be available until they run to the end of stock.
If you have a keen interest in retro and retro inspired games, we've put together a list of the best ones on iOS.
