A MOLE, a creature blind from birth, once said to his Mother: "I am sure than I can see, Mother!" In the desire to prove to him his mistake, his Mother placed before him a few grains of frankincense, and asked, "What is it?' The young Mole said, "It is a pebble." His Mother exclaimed: "My son, I am afraid that you are not only blind, but that you have lost your sense of smell.

Update on 04.09.2020 at 15:22
The version of World's End Club currently available on Apple Arcade appears to be the first part of a larger experience. This is based on a tweet from Kotaro Uchikoshi. The full version will launch on Nintendo Switch in Spring 2021.
Note: World's End Club has a cliff-hanger end like Avengers Infinity War. (The complete version will be released on Switch.) But it contains enough volume and high entertainment as one game. Total play time is probably about 10 hours. (depends on the individual tho.)— Kotaro Uchikoshi Eng (@Uchikoshi_Eng) September 4, 2020Original story on 04.09.2020 at 15:16

The latest release to hit Apple Arcade is publisher IzanagiGames' World's End Club, a strange action-adventure title from Zero Escape creator Kotaro Uchikoshi and Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka.

It follows the story of 12 oddball students on a class trip gone horribly awry. Following a bus accident, they've found themselves trapped in an abandoned theme park that also happens to be situated deep below the sea.
Definitive list of EVERY Apple Arcade game available, and what you need to know about them
To make matters worse, they aren't entirely alone down there, with a strange clown quickly forcing them into a game of life and death. It's a premise that should be familiar to anyone who's played Uchikoshi or Kodaka's earlier work.

Anne's House of Dreams
CD Projekt Red has now soft-launched its neat-looking augmented reality title The Witcher: Monster Slayer. The only catch is that it's currently only open to iOS players in New Zealand.

The game was officially announced last week. It's currently in development at CD Projekt Red's Spokko studio, and it casts you as a witcher tasked with felling all manner of foul creatures.
Gather round witchers, we just launched the early development version of our game in New Zealand for you to test!So grab your swords and download it from the App Store ? https://t.co/ZYkkPQUusP pic.twitter.com/NpSFvpT3p7— The Witcher: Monster Slayer (@TheWitcherMS) August 31, 2020Interestingly, it's set well before the time of Geralt of Rivia, meaning we likely won't be seeing many fan-favourite characters appear throughout. What you will recognise, however, are the many hideous monsters out to tear you limb from limb.
The Bonfire 2: Uncharted Shores review - "Sleep with one eye open"
Water hags, sirens, ghouls, and griffins all feature, so it certainly seems like there's a sizeable focus on complex combat encounters here. For example, you'll be able to brew potions and oils or craft deadly bombs in order to take down your targets.

A FROG once upon a time came forth from his home in the marsh and proclaimed to all the beasts that he was a learned physician, skilled in the use of drugs and able to heal all diseases. A Fox asked him, "How can you pretend to prescribe for others, when you are unable to heal your own lame gait and wrinkled skin?'

Folks weren't too impressed with the NES Switch Online collection when it first launched, but to be fair to Nintendo, the service has been continually updated with new games ever since, and now its collection is growing even bigger.

Today, Western players can get their hands on Super Mario Bros. 2 and Kirby's Adventure as part of the Switch Online package. The former is the dark horse of the Super Mario Bros. series, being a reskin of an entirely different, not-at-all-Mario game. Kirby's Adventure, meanwhile, is the first game in the franchise for everyone's favourite pink ball of air.

But wait, there's more! As usual, the collection has also added a couple of bonuses. First up is an SP version of Blaster Master, which drops you off at the start of the last level of the game - perfect for those of you who don't want to bother actually playing it at any point.

New #NES games have been added to #NintendoSwitchOnline – Nintendo Entertainment System! Save the world of Subcon in #SuperMario Bros. 2, and use your enemies’ powers against them in #Kirby’s Adventure! pic.twitter.com/y85GwoXqpi— Nintendo of Europe (@NintendoEurope) February 13, 2019 And for some reason there's an additional SP version of Metroid added to the collection, alongside the regular game and an earlier SP edition. While the original SP version drops you outside of Ridley's boss battle, this time around you'll be just near the end of the game with a fully kitted-out Samus, allowing you to see the best ending with relative ease.

I say relative ease - you do need to actually finish the game first, and if you've not played Metroid before and don't know how the controls work, actually doing that is a bit of a struggle. Don't ask me how I know this. I just do, OK?

If you're a super fan who got their hands on the Famicom Switch Online collection through a Japanese account, you'll also get a Japan-only sumo wrestling game. Also Super Mario Bros. 2 is called Super Mario USA, which is all kinds of hilarious to me.

Go and update your NES Switch Online Collection now and your two games will pop up straight away. And don't forget you can move the games around as well! I learned this recently and it's completely changed my life. Well not completely, but it's certainly made it easier for me to get to the games I care about.

THE OXEN once upon a time sought to destroy the Butchers, who practiced a trade destructive to their race. They assembled on a certain day to carry out their purpose, and sharpened their horns for the contest. But one of them who was exceedingly old (for many a field had he plowed) thus spoke: "These Butchers, it is true, slaughter us, but they do so with skillful hands, and with no unnecessary pain. If we get rid of them, we shall fall into the hands of unskillful operators, and thus suffer a double death: for you may be assured, that though all the Butchers should perish, yet will men never want beef."
